Logging details
Exceptions as well as informational events can be logged. If an error occurs during content and structure creation it will be marked with red color in the tree on the left side.
Select the Logging tab for more details. Clicking on a message will give you additional information:
- The object creating the error.
- A SharePoint error message provided by the object model.
Note: Please be aware that the SharePoint error message comes out-of-the-box with SharePoint and can contain useful information or not.

- Problem
Can't load settings.xml file.
Please go to 'Tools > Options...' and select your license, an attachment folder and a structure folder.
XmlToSettings: Error opening .xml document at C:\…\settings.xml. Could not find file 'C:\…\settings.xml'.
Solution
The file settings.xml is missing in the applications directory. Please go to 'Tools > Options...' and select your license, an attachment folder and a structure folder. After clicking save the file is created.
If the problem is not solved:
-Please check if you have permission for creating and modifying a file in the applications directory.

Solution
The file settings.xml can’t be created in the applications directory. While closing the application all settings are written to that file.

GetInstalledLanguages: Can't get languages from site 'http://moss2007'. The Web application at http://moss2007 could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application.

All errors coming directly from SharePoint are covered by this error code. Please try to manually create the SharePoint list, page, site or site collection in order to find and resolve the error.
Lists
- Problem
CreateList: Can't create list 'List: DocumentLibrary Description: Url: / Template: DocumentLibrary Checkin: True Approve: True Copies: 0 Attributes: 0'. The specified name is already in use.
A list, survey, discussion board, or document library cannot have the same name as another list, survey, discussion board, or document library in this Web site. Use your browser's Back button, and type a new name.
Solution
The specified lists already exists. You can delete the existing list or create a new name for the list you want to create.

Solution The specified page already exists. You can delete the existing page or create a new name for the page you want to create.

CreatePage: Can't create page 'Article page with body only'. The web '/' is no publishing web an therefore pages cannot be created.
Solution
Pages can only be created if the host site is of type publishing web. You can’t create pages with a Team Site or Blank Site.

Solution
You can only create sites with a template you can choose in the SharePoint user interface. Please be sure you can create the site using the SharePoint user interface. If you can’t create a site with a specific template you need to activate all necessary features.
