As you know the error rate increases if you test any application at different environments since the content available is different. The customers' production environment has the most diverse content and there you will find out if your application has bugs or not. Usually this is because of isolated development- and testing environments and due to different persons.

How it works

Step A covers the usual development process of a custom SharePoint solution including deployment to a farm and testing. Content Generator adds additional benefit by connecting to your SharePoint site collection in order to get site-, page- and list templates. Now you can create with an easy to use editor a content hierarchy shown in step B. You can recreate the hierarchy in your development environment with predefined content shown in step C allowing you to develop and test with real world content. You can also recreate the content on different SharePoint farms shown in step D where your custom solution is deployed.
