Configuration

First application startup

After the first start you need to setup the application.

Insert an Url of an existing SharePoint 2007 site collection and click connect.

  1. Select a license file with a valid license so you can use the application without limitations.
  2. Select a folder in order to store your created templates.
  3. Select a folder where attachments are stored you want to upload to libraries.

Structure templates

You can create content and structure and save it as a template which can be reused. In order to save templates you need a folder where they are stored. It is suggested that you select a folder in the application directory because the application is portable (no need to install) and therefore you can move it around as you like.

Select a folder where you can store your templates.


License

Important: The license can only be validated against an existing site collection. E.g. if you want to connect to http://moss2007 and there is no site collection the license can’t be validated.

All licenses are stored in one license file. The application is running in trial mode if:

  • You don’t select a license file.
  • You select a license file which doesn’t include a license for the farm you are connected to.

The application is running in trial mode if you don't select a license file.

If you have purchased a license you need to select the license file (.xml). After selecting a file with a valid license the application will run without limitations.

Attachments

It is possible to upload documents to a document library. In order to upload a document you need to specify a path where your documents are located.

Select a folder where attachments are stored you want to upload to SharePoint 2007 document libraries.

Now you can use your documents stored in the selected directory in your templates. In order to do so please read 'Content and structure templates'.
